HEART OF ENGLAND CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY APPOINTS RICHARD COOMBES MANAGER OF HILLMORTON FOODCENTRE

The Heart of England Co-operative Society has appointed Richard Coombes Manager of its Hillmorton Foodcentre.

The appointment marks the latest step up the career ladder for Richard who has been with the Society for six years.

The 27-year-old started as Deputy Manager at the Earlsdon Foodcentre – a position he held for three years.

He transferred to Ansty Road Lateshop as Manager for 18 months and then took over as Manager of the Tile Hill Lateshop, where he worked before Hillmorton.

Richard said: “There has been some fantastic work going on at the Hillmorton Foodcentre and primarily I am looking to build upon the work that has already been done. I will be looking at various ways in which we can drive sales forward, particularly with fresh foods as more and more people are buying fresh these days.”

Richard lives in Coventry with fiancée Gemma Donnelly. The couple have two young sons – Connor, aged three and Charlie, aged one.
