HEART OF ENGLAND CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY TRAVELCARE STAFF SEEK CHRISTMAS CHARITY DONATIONS
The Heart of England Co-operative Society’s Travel Division is asking shoppers to donate goods to help underprivileged children this Christmas.
They require toys, games, books, computer games, DVD's and music, particularly looking for anything suitable for young babies and teenagers.
The Bedworth branch, situated in the High Street, will be collecting for the Children’s Ward at the George Elliott Hospital in Nuneaton.
Staff at the Royal Leamington Spa Travelcare branch in Warwick Street will be collecting goods for "Steph & Geoff's", a local charity who help provide assistance to underprivileged families and children in the area.
Caroline Bentley-Showell, Travelcare Manager said: “We really want to put a smile on the faces of these deserving kids this festive season.
“Many of them have never had a proper Christmas and we hope to provide that experience for as many of them as possible.”
Customers and the general public are asked to bring in suitable gifts to stores between now and Thursday December 20.
