BUSINESS IS BOOMING FOR CITY BATHROOMS, KITCHENS AND BEDROOMS
Interiors Firm Expands Operation into Heart of England Co-operative Society’s Rooms of Coventry and Royal Leamington Spa branches
Business is booming for a Longford-based interiors firm which has expanded by opening two smaller branches in stores in Coventry and Royal Leamington Spa.
City Bathrooms, Kitchens and Bedrooms has seen sales soar through its move into the Heart of England Co-operative Society’s Rooms of Coventry, in the city’s Corporation Street store, and Rooms of Royal Leamington Spa, in the town’s Warwick Street store.
The company, which has been in the area for 28 years, moved into Rooms of Coventry last summer and Rooms of Royal Leamington Spa in September.
Richard Oakley, Franchise Manager at Rooms of Royal Leamington Spa, said there had been a marked increase in sales since the move. He said business had soared even more recently with fears of the credit crunch prompting homeowners to invest more in their properties.
He said: “We have done really well since moving into the Heart of England Co-operative Society’s stores, particularly in Royal Leamington Spa where we have our own window display.
“Business has progressed ever since we moved in and with the current economic climate, while people are cutting back on consumer goods they are investing more in their properties which is obviously good business for us.”
Richard said he and his team of 20 fitters had been working flat out since the start of the year due to high demand.
He said: “Moving into Rooms of Coventry and Rooms of Royal Leamington Spa has been a good business move. Together the two stores complement our Longford base and we are extremely pleased with progress to date.”
