MUSIC ENTHUSIASTS INVITED TO CONCERT

Music enthusiasts from Coventry are invited to an Autumn Concert by members of the city’s only orchestra next month.

The event will comprise a blend of music - folk, classical and modern - and will be hosted by members of the Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra, with special guests the Rugby Male Voice Choir.

It comes on the back of the recent Proms in the Precinct performance by the Orchestra, which drew crowds of shoppers in Coventry’s Lower Precinct.

Claire Pavlou, Orchestra Secretary, said the concert would include something for everyone.

She said: “All our members have varying tastes of music so we include pieces which appeal to all of us as we feel this is this is the best way to appeal to music lovers across Coventry and Warwickshire.

“We were delighted with the rapturous welcome we received in the Lower Precinct during our recent concert and look forward to entertaining music fans in Coventry once more next month.”

The event will take place at the Coventry Methodist Central Hall, in Warwick Lane, city centre, on Wednesday, October 7th at 7.30pm.
