The Non-Food Division, is headed up by General Manager Bryan Wheatley, employs around 250 people and operates from 8 locations including 2 Department Stores, 8 Electrical Departments, 6 Furniture Departments, 3 Carpet Departments, 1 Toy Department, 3 Giftwares Departments, 2 Nursery Departments, 3 Cafes, 2 Menswear/Fashion Departments and a TV and Video Repair Centre.

Substantial refurbishment has recently taken place in our Nuneaton Department Store and our Coventry City Centre Store, the latter has now been relaunched under the new identity of Rooms of Coventry - a store designed for you and your home, selling everything for the home. A major town centre development scheme is being planned for Rugby town centre to include a new Co-op store. The success of this format has been such that the Society's store in the centre of Royal Leamington Spa has now also been rebranded under the 'Rooms' banner following a major £330,000 refurbishment and now offers a greater range of furniture and electrical goods and a refurbished in-store travel agency.

Co-op Electrix is a major electrical business in the region with annual sales of £8 million.

Living, dining and bedroom furniture and beds are the key areas of the Society's Non-Food business making us the biggest independent retailer based in Warwickshire.

The Society's Non-Food Division was also re-recognised as an Investor in People, 6 months ahead of schedule - a further demonstration of the Society's commitment to it staff and to ever enhanced levels of customer service.
